9menu software package provides Creates X menus from the shell, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install 9menu
9menu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the 9menu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep 9menu *
You will get with 9menu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
